Unicorn Crate is a magical monthly YA fantasy book subscription box curated by Naomi Farr.

Boxes are shipped around the 20th of each month. You can choose from different subscription plans that renew every month, every three months or every six months. You can also purchase the boxes as a single purchase while supplies last (if you're subscribed you don't have to worry about placing a one-time order before they sell out!)

What makes Unicorn Crate the best YA fantasy subscription box?

Every month I promise to send you:

* A brand new hardcover YA fantasy release, published within 6 weeks of receiving your box (often they're released the very same week the boxes ship!)

* 5-6 handpicked bookish goodies (related to the monthly themes) made from a wide range of small businesses or sometimes made by Unicorn Crate when possible! Unicorn Crate is a small business in itself (it's just me!). By purchasing a Unicorn Crate box, you are helping to support many small and family run shops from all over North America.

* Monthly themes that I carefully plan after reading the books in advance. Plus there is always a unicorn inspired item too!

* Exclusive items from publishers and authors that you won't find anywhere else. Every box includes a handwritten letter from the author, and I also try to include signed bookplates as much as possible (so far every month!).

 THE TEAM

Naomi (owner/founder) I'm a bookish unicorn / faerie. I feel most at home in magical forests (or bookstores) with a book in my bag and a story brewing in my brain. I believe stories are one of the most important things in life. I created Unicorn Crate because I love books and fun bookish things - but also because I had a vision of creating more magic, joy, and enchantment in the world. It's my hope that these boxes will light up your day, your week, your month, wherever you are. And I love getting to know you guys on Instagram! Join the conversation @unicorncrate.

Unicorn Crate takes up most of my time, but I'm also a freelance editor, writer (currently working on a YA Fantasy series), botanical perfumer, and blogger among other things. I also spoil my cat-child, have watched every episode of Gilmore Girls too many times, and am a major Tolkien fan. Oh, and Gryffindor.

Leia (magic maker): I'm a Norwegian Forest cat and I love to sit on mom's desk while she plans your crates or writes her book (she's been working on that book an awful long time). I also love to chase bubbles, watch birds (and movies... my favorites are Harry Potter, The Secret Life of Pets, and Trolls). I love my twice weekly brushings (I am a princess, after all). Cuddles are the best. Thunder is the worst. Sometimes you can find me @avioletlife.
